Backpacking

“Once the travel bug bites there is no known antidote, and I know that I shall be happily infected until the end of my life”

― Michael Palin

When I returned to my home town Redditch, Worcestershire in March 2017 it hit hard because less than 40 hours ago I was in Australia on a sunny beach. My trip was cut short because of an unfortunate event happened in Cairns, Australia. I will explain that story and many other adventures in my blog.

When I got back home, I was lucky enough to have a job to return to so I could be earning some money, save and travel. However, things didn’t turn out how I planned it to be, and without going into too much detail, all I had was one disaster to another.

I would love to get back on the road and travel again but, unfortunately, the first half of 2020 has been the worst year for me and the most challenging times, like for most people who I know.

So it’s July 2020, and I want to finish this year off in a positive state of mind, with a plan to get back on the road and travel!

Below is my blog posts to Spain back in July 2016.

I did start doing a blog but unfortunately I never got to finish it off or even continue with it and I did sadly lose a lot of photos and videos.

Malagueta beach.

So my Journey begins at Malaga in July 2016…I’m excited to be here, but I remember I didn’t feel well at all, I had a bad headache, stiff neck & felt dazed from everything around me…

Archidona old town lunchtime.

This little old town was my first real taste of Spanish life because Archidona is not a very tourist place at all – I hardly spoken to anyone who was English while I was there…

The Colegiata de Osuna.

Anyone who has watch the Game of Thrones then you’ll notice some locations of this town because Season 5 was filmed here. It’s one of the reason why I visited this town if I’m honest!

Granada Cathedral is imposing and difficult to miss!

Myles said to me “Go to Granada because they have so much to do there” well he was right! So much history here & a lot to do as well but what I did notice that price of things are more expensive…
